![]() ![]() I am a complete novice with using ReShade and for that, I apologize for any mistakes I may have made regarding a before and after image. You can get some good scanlines in the game to help out in getting rid of what Square Enix has done.ĮDIT: I am sure that through better tweaking than my own feeble attempt can be done to make this look better. Look at the options, follow the tutorial, and when completed, you can edit your overlay settings for CRT. Launch your game and in the upper part of the game, there will be an overlay that says to press "Shift-F2" for options. the first box will say done and you can close it out. ![]() You can install all of them but that is up to you. A new box will appear asking you what ones to install. The best emulator to play it would be the latest BSNES version (Filter: NTSC RGB / Shader: CRT-Royale-Kurozumi). Choose OpenGL.Īfter that, it will ask you if you want to download filters/shaders. For me, the deffinitive version of Chrono Trigger, for someone who can't read in japanese, is playing the Kajar Laboratories' retranslation patch for the SNES version. It will then ask you what rendering engine to use, DX9, DX10+, or OpenGL. Navigate to where your Chrono Trigger is installed. It will ask you what game you want to use. For me, this makes the game a bit more playable, graphics wise. However, I may have found a temporary fix for the shaders. ![]()
